4DX tests the heartworm antigens and antibodies against tick-borne diseases such as Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma. It usually occurs in the same region and is infected by the same tick species. Premonitoring is essential because it is also transmitted to humans by infected ticks. It can also be used to monitor protective antibodies after vaccination.
